Visit the largest Indigenous community in WA
Air Tour to Bidyadanga Community

A Visit has been planned to Bidyadanga Aboriginal Community. At last years ATSLIRN conference in Darwin the team who helped set up the Community Library made a presentation. It generated a lot of interest so this year we would like to show you how the library is developing and growing within the service structure of the community.

Bidyadanga is a costal community 200 km south of Broome on the edge of the Great Sandy Desert.

Schedule

10:30am         Depart Broome Airport.
11:00am         Arrive Bidyadanga  transport to Community office for welcome.
11:30am         Group 1 to Library/Telecentre/Art Centre.

Group 2 to Board room display area/Gardens/ Bus tour of Community & beach.

12:30pm          Lunch.

1:30pm           Group 1 to Board Room Display area/Gardens/ Bus tour of Community & beach.

.Group 2 to Library/Telecentre/Art Centre.

2:30pm           Bus to Bidyadanga airport.
3:00pm           Return to Broome.

 

Lunch can be ordered.
